ABOUT ME
My name is Antoine Khoury and I have been teaching French and other Second Languages for over 40 years at various levels. Since 2008, beside teaching at the university of Windsor, I have been working with Homeschooling parents who want to expose their children to the French language, in person and online.
To the many homeschooling parents who want to introduce French to their children, but who are not able to teach it, I created a series of French video-lessons, covering a multitude of levels, with the intention to relieve the parents of that enormous responsibility to go through the painful process of digesting the content of a French manual and teach a language most do not speak nor understand.
By using an engaging Material, mainly dialogues, the product of my 40 years of teaching and writing French, and applying an innovative Methodoloy that puts emphasis on the importance of speaking the language first, I encourage and challenge the students to use the rich vocabulary acquired instantly, in context, which makes the understanding of the grammar rules a lot easier.

These video-lessons, built on the concept that we learn a language to speak it first, provide the students, from the early grades to university, with countless opportunities to speak French, know where their mistakes are, be corrected on the spot by giving them clear and detailed explanations in French and English, so they can avoid making the same mistakes again.
In addition, these resources help the parents learn French so they can monitor the progress of their children on a daily basis, as well as helping their young kids, at a very early age, read in English the same dialogues they learn to read in French. In our opinion, the dream of parents is to enable the child to speak and read in both languages, with intonation and expression.
